What we pay you for your recyclables varies according to market prices. We try to pay the most of anyone in the Gallatin County-Yellowstone area.
Are clamshells/berry containers recyclable?
No! Clamshells are not being accepted by the plastic manufacturers who melt the plastic. We currently have to pick out berry containers, because if any get melted in with the batch of plastic it will ruin the whole entire batch. Which then, has to go to the landfill. Berry containers are a food grade plastic but it is made from polystyrene, which is not acceptable.
